A CATERING firm is offering Scots Christmas party deals – despite July temperatures hitting 80 degrees and above.
As Scots try to keep cool during the heatwave, Sodexo Prestige is trying to tempt them into signing up for Christmas functions at four top venues.
They are promising anyone who makes a party enquiry before September 30 entry into a free prize draw for an all expenses paid shopping trip to London.
The deals are on offer at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh (RBGE), Hamilton Park Racecourse, Hampden Park and Pittodrie stadium.
Austin Tilsley, the firm’s regional director, admitted: “It’s the height of summer, so it may seem odd to be talking about Christmas when most people are thinking about sun cream and barbecues.
“But for those people who are responsible for booking office or workplace Christmas parties, this is an ideal time.
There’s nothing worse than the last minute phone round trying to find somewhere the right size, in the right place or at the right price.
Hampden Park will be transformed into a Magical Winter Wonderland this festive season with packages starting from £40 per person.
Hamilton Park is promising “parties that will blow your baubles off” also starting at £40.
Aberdeen FC is hosting its annual ‘Bring a Party to a Party’ with tickets starting at £38.50 per person.
In Edinburgh, the RBGE is offering Christmas functions at Inverleith House starting at £45 per person.
