Scots baby, who was born weighing less than two pounds, has defied the odds to become a teenage Thai boxer...13-year-old Robbie Young, from Lochgelly in Fife, was born weighing a tiny one pound 12 ounces, and spent the first three months of his life in an incubator...Doctors didn't know if the tiny baby would survive, and his devastated mum Ann-Marie, who delivered her baby at just 27 weeks, wasn't able to give her newborn son a cuddle until he was eight weeks old...But Robbie has defied the odds and now at a strapped five foot three inches and weighing just over ten stone 10 stone, trains three times a week at the intensive Thai combat sport and is hoping to compete in the future...It's a far cry from Robbie's traumatic birth, 13 weeks early, at Forth Park maternity hospital in Fife...Mum Ann-Marie, 41, said: ?It was an incredibly traumatic time for the family.
