THE mother of Scots tennis ace Andy Murray may have embarrassed the Wimbledon star yet again – by tweeting pictures of topless athletes.
Judy Murray, who recently tweeted that Goran Ivanisevic smelled delicious, posted a link to ten hunky Olympic athletes on her Twitter page and renamed the event “The Olympecs”.
The 52-year-old also retweeted a message from one Twitter follower who wrote: “The Olympics just got more interesting.”
Pictures of the half-naked sportsmen got a mixed response from her 36,000 Twitter followers, with one writing “eyecandy ;),” and another complaining: “I shouldn’t have clicked the link. I now feel terribly self conscious and will be doing HIIT on the ex bike daily when better.”
The raunchy tweet is not the first time Judy has used social media to embarrass her younger son.
Last month Judy said tennis champ Goran Ivanisevic smelled “Rather like a decent shiraz” in an online chat with sports TV presenter Claire Balding.
Judy also wrote a number of tweets about tennis player Guy Forget after spotting him during the French Open in Paris last year.
She wrote: “Things are looking up in the player café. Guy Forget dans la maison. He is Monsieur Unconventional Chic.”
“Short shorts in the most elegant legs. Mmmmm.”
She also embarrassed Andy when she labelled his tennis rival Feliciano Lopez “Deliciano” at the Wimbledon competition last year.
The tweets prompted Murray, who went on to beat Lopez in the quarter final, to say it “about time she stopped with that nonsense.”
