A DRUGS plantation has been closed down by police, halting the supply of cannabis in one Fife town.
Cannabis plants with a street value of around £8000 were seized from a house in Buckhaven after local officers arrived at the property in order to arrest the occupant on other charges.
PC Kai Plentz, who is based at Levenmouth, said: ‘When officers went to arrest the man they discovered the plantation. The officers seized the plants and the man will appear at court at a later date.
