A MAN was punched and kicked by three men as he walked along the street with his mother.
The victim was attacked as he made his way along Leafield Road, Dumfries at about 11.15am on Monday.
The three men assaulted the 17-year-old before walking off afterwards along Leafield Road in the direction of the Railway Club.
The victim was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary where he was treated for facial injuries.
The first man is described as being about 24 years of age, about 5’ 11” tall, well built, short ginger hair and was wearing a royal blue tracksuit top.
The second man was in his late teens, 5’ 5” tall, fresh faced, medium build, short fair hair, wearing light clothing, possibly beige in colour.
The third man has short dark hair.
