DRUGS with a total value of over £10,000 have been seized this week from two addresses in Musselburgh and Bonnyrigg.
During the first raid which took place at Moir Drive in Musselburgh on Friday, heroin and cocaine as well as other items related to the supply of drugs with a combined value of over £8400 were seized from the address.
A man and a woman, aged 29 and 30 respectively were arrested and charged in connection with the drugs offences and later appeared at Haddington Sheriff Court on Monday where they were bailed pending trial at a later date.
Similarly, in the second raid which occurred in Bonnyrigg yesterday (May 23) cocaine worth £3720 was expropriated from the address, along with other drug-related accoutrements and a small amount of cannabis.
A 24 year old man was arrested and charged in relation to this incident and appeared in Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
