Police release CCTV of tanker theft suspects

GRAMPIAN Police have released images of a man connected to the theft of a tanker in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

They are appealing to the public for their assistance in identifying this man.

The theft took place in an industrial yard at around 7:00 pm on Friday 16 September 2011 on Keithall Road.

This man caught on CCTV is suspected to be connected to the theft of a tanker

The tanker, which is white in colour with a Scottish Water logo, was refuelled about midnight on the same day at the Shell Filing Station, Douglas, Lanarkshire.  The vehicle was later recovered near to Dover.

The man in the CCTV is described as white with a stocky build and in his 20’s or 30’s. At the time he was wearing a white t-shirt and a dark baseball cap.
