CELEBRITY chef Jamie Oliver has tweeted an appeal for staff to work at his new Scottish eaterie.
The chef and healthy eating campaigner is opening a branch of Jamie’s Italian in Edinburgh in the summer.
Jamie tweeted: “Hands up who’s excited about our Edinburgh restaurant opening this July? You can apply to work with us now!”
The star, who already has a branch in Glasgow, said he is looking for managers, floor staff, hosts and chefs for the Edinburgh restaurant which will cater for up to 240 diners.
Yesterday, Jamie backed 10-year-old Martha Payne for blogging about her school dinners.
The pupil from Argyll posts pictures of her school dinners and rates them out of ten.
Oliver Tweeted the girl’s father David Payne with his support.
He said: “Shocking but inspirational blog. Keep going, Big love from Jamie x”
