Irn-bru gets Davie the dog through t-shirt thieves trauma

SINCE becoming the victim of crime at the hands of t-shirt thieves last weekend, cocker spaniel Davie has been finding it hard to deal ith the trauma and loss of his favourite Ross County football strip.

Davie was mugged of his top outside his owner, Greg Cormack’s shop in Dingwall as he prepared to watch his favourite team parade the IRN-BRU 1st Division trophy down the high street in front of thousands of ecstatic Staggies fans.

Greg says Davie’s new shirt will see him through the next season

However, when IRN-BRU heard of Davie’s plight, they returned to the Highland tow to help the shocked pooch get through this difficult time with delivery of his very own champions t-shirt as sported by the County players at the league title celebration last Saturday.

Davie and his owners have been struggling to come to terms with the bizarre incident so IRN-BRU also arranged a supply of IRN-BRU to help ‘Get them Through’.

Speaking on behalf of Davie, owner Greg commented: “Since last week’s incident my wife has been worrying about Davie – he hasn’t been quite himself and she’s suggested counselling for him as a victim of crime.

“His new t-shirt came just at the right time and is now a key staple in his wardrobe for match days.  He can’t wait to go and watch the Staggie’s play in the SPL next season wearing it.”
