The incident took place just after midnight and Fife Constabulary is appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have information to contact us as soon as possible.
Detective Inspector Scott Davidson, who is leading the enquiry, said: “This incident left two men injured, one of whom is in intensive care where his condition is described as stable.
“Detectives from Fife Constabulary have now charged four men, however we are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward to assist us with our investigation.
“Uniformed officers will be in the area of Roxburgh Road tonight in order to carry out follow-up enquiries and will be available should anyone wish to speak with them. We can also be contacted on 0845 600 5702 or anonymously by Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
