A MALE nurse who exposed himself and a fondled a female colleague at an old folks home faces being struck off.
James Kelly is alleged to have placed his hand on a nurse’s breast, as well as “simulating sexual intercourse” with her while working as a staff nurse inAyr.
The staff nurse, who worked at Biggart Hospital in Prestwick, is also alleged to have told a nurse that he wanted to “f**k her” as they worked on the Anderson Ward in 2009.
Mr Kelly allegedly exposed his genitals five times during 2007 and 2009 while working for NHS Ayrshire andArran.
During those dates, he also “cuddled” and “kissed” the other nurse, as well as slapping her on the bum when she arrived at the Prestwick care home for duty.
According to the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Mr Kelly also sprayed the nurse with a shower, and ran after her and “patted her chest” to dry her off.
The NMC claim that Mr Kelly’s conduct, which took place between 2007 to 2009, was “sexually motivated” and that his actions were “inappropriate.”
Mr Kelly faces a total of 13 charges and is due to have his disciplinary case heard during April, at the NMC inEdinburgh.
