PICTURE SPECIAL: Dancers and Sculpture at Scottish Gallery of Modern Art

Dancers and choreographers from Telford College BA Honours Dance course and dance students from Broughton High School have been working with Scottish Ballet and the National Galleries of Scotland – creating responses to The Sculpture Show, the gallery’s current survey of modern and contemporary sculpture. The 50-minute performances of Desire, at 11am and 12pm on Saturday, are free and will see dancers flowing from gallery to gallery performing 3-5minute responses to the works on show. Ron Mueck’s A Girl, Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing #1136 and Damien Hirst’s Wretched War will be among the works featured in the performance.
