A WOMAN who died after a car mounted the pavement and hit her has been named by police.
Nicola Cross, 30, died after a red Toyota Corolla smashed into her on Jeanfield Road, Perth at 10.15am on Wednesday.

As a result of the collision, she suffered serious head and chest injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where, tragically, it was later confirmed that she had died.
A car matching the description of the vehicle involved was traced elsewhere in Perth and an 81-year-old man is assisting police with enquiries.
The road was closed and diversion put in place to allow crash investigators to carry out enquiries at the scene.
