POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a dog walker on the water of Leith walkway near Colinton.
The assault occurred yesterday, February 15 at around 2.30 pm following a falling out between two males.
The male responsible is described as mid to late thirties, average build, wearing a blue fleece jacket and in possession of a black and white terrier type dog. The suspect was also in the company of a young girl.
