SUSAN Boyle has revealed she is going to the theatre this weekend – to see raunchy musical Avenue Q.
The star, best known for her church-going, clean-living lifestyle, will be treated to ditties such as The Internet is for Porn and I’m Not Wearing Any Underwear.
The hand-held puppet show includes a prostitute called Lucy the Slut and is set in run down New York street. The Playhouse in Edinburgh has advised children to keep away.
But Susan said she was looking forward to seeing the smash-hit Broadway musical.
She said: “I’m going to see Avenue Q. I’m a huge Muppets fan so I’m really looking forward to it.
“I’ve wanted to see it for a very long time now so I have to make time for it while I’m off, which doesn’t happen very often.”
She added: “I’m a big kid at heart.”
However, a review on website Edinburgh Guide described the show as “certainly not for children”.
Known as “Sesame Street for adults”, the musical is an adapted from a book by Jeff Whitty.
Other songs include Everyone’s a Little Bit Racist and If you were Gay.
In The Internet is For Porn, Susan will be treated to the lines: “The Internet is really, really great, for porn/I’ve got a fast connection so I don’t have to wait, for porn.”
