Teen flasher linked to multiple incidents

Police are linking several incidents

A TEENAGER who exposed himself is being linked to two more incidents in East Lothian.

The most recent victim was walking in Letham Gardens in Dunbar at around 7.45pm on Wednesday when she was passed by the teen on a bike.

As she walked onto Parsonspool where she spotted the same boy standing against a tree engaging in an indecent act.

He had a short conversation with the witness before he walked away into Letham Gardens.

Detectives believe this is the same man who flashed members of the public in the Winterfield Park and Winterfield Place area of Dunbar.

He is described as being a white male, between 13 – 17 years old, and between 5 ft 4 and 5ft 7ins tall with a slim build and short dark hair.

In the most recent incident he riding a light coloured BMX.

A police spokesman said: “We believe this male has previously been responsible for other indecent exposures in East Lothian recently and are carrying out a robust investigation to identify him.

“Anyone who can assist with our enquiries is asked to contact police immediately.

“Similarly, we would also urge anyone who was in or around Letham Gardens or Parsonspool yesterday evening and who believes they saw anything suspicious to come forward.”
