A TEACHER facing allegations that he took indecent photographs of children was temporarily suspended from the classroom today.
Brian Johnston, 48, appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Courton September 26 last year.
The Crown Office today confirmed that he appeared on charges of taking or permitting indecent photos to be taken of children and having indecent images of children in his possession.
Mr Johnston, who teaches in the Falkirk area, made no plea or declaration and was released on bail while further inquiries are carried out, said the Crown Office spokesman.
Today, the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) confirmed that Mr Johnston, from Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire, had been âtemporarily removed from the registerâ.
