Dairy thieves steal cheese

The barmy break-in at the dairy happened overnight

POLICE have been left scratching their head after thieves broke into a dairy – and made off with a packet of cheese.

The bizarre break-in at the North Street Dairy in Forfar, Angus happed overnight last week.

A bucket of caustic powder was also taken in the raid, which happened between 8.30pm on Thursday and 1.15am on Friday.

Police are looking to speak to a man who was seen nearby.

He is described as being 5ft 10, of slim build, and at was wearing a light blue hooded top, dark Adidas tracksuit bottoms with white stripes and white trainers.

 

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in or around North Street, and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222.
