HEROIN worth more than £60,000 has been seized in West Lothian.
Police raided a house in Bridgend following a tip-off from a member of the public.
In addition to drugs, officers also seized over £1000 cash in the raid on the property in Auldhill Crescent.
A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged with drugs offences, and appeared atLivingston Sheriff Courton Friday, December 16, where he was remanded in custody.
A Lothian and Borders Police spokesman said: “The recovery of this substantial quantity of drugs was made thanks to information provided by the public, and demonstrates our commitment to acting on information we receive on alleged criminals operating in local communities.
