A MAN has been taken to hospital after crashing his four-wheeled Reliant Robin.
The 72-year-old suffered a broken sternum in the accident, which happened at around 12.30pm today.
His vehicle, a version of the once-popular car known as a Reliant Kitten, collided with a Nissan Micra on theHaddington Road, near Musselburgh.
Firefighters attended the scene and removes the man from the car by taking off the fibreglass panels.
The female driver of the Micra was also taken to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be serious.
