Ashrita Furman Breaks Water Balloon Guiness World Record

ASHRITA FURMAN, the man famous for having broken the most records in the Guiness Book of Records today broke a new record for the number of hits of a person by a water balloon in one minute.

The Edinburgh attempt is a new record category: number of hits of a person by a water balloon in one minute. Guiness have said that he must complete more than 15 to claim the record. The Loch Ness skipping attempt is number of jumps In a rope in 5 minutes whilst wearIng flippers that are twice the length of his feet (current record 113).

These will be Ashrita’s 133rd and 134thofficially acknowledged world records.Ashrita has set 365official Guinness Records since 1979 and currently holds- 132 -standing records including the official record for “the most records held at the same time by an individual”.Ashrita has broken records in a wide range of categories, including balancing beer glasses on his chin, working the world’s largest hula hoop, cycling backwards, somersaulting, and pushing an orange a mile with his nose at speed.
