WEIRD deliveries made by Scottish couriers have been revealed.
Scots delivery drivers have transported a boat propeller, lampposts and even sperm across the country.
More macabre cargo has included coffins and human ashes.
The strange consignments were exposed in a straw poll of staff at one of Scotland’s largest couriers.
Jerry Stewart, director of Eagle Couriers, said: “It’s fair to say that we have delivered a real variety of unusual packages throughoutBritainand beyond, but some stand out.
“To us, it doesn’t matter what the package is, as long as it’s legal. We’ll get it from A to B safely and on time and in the same condition it was delivered to us.”
Mr Stewart added: “One of the most difficult deliveries was a large canoe, because it was such an awkward size and shape. It was to be delivered from the mainland to the islands and the driver joked it would have been easier to paddle across with it.”
