SUSAN Boyle has revealed she would like to adopt Justin Bieber.
The Scottish songstress and Canadian pop idol are being pitched against each other in the American charts after releasing their albums earlier this month.
But asked how she felt about the battle by an Australian radio host SuBo said: “I think I’d like to adopt him. He’s a lovely boy, I’d love to adopt him.”
In the interview SuBo also spoke about her “experimental” new album, bullying and the other great love of her life, her cat Pebbles.
However the West Lothian superstar seemed irked when asked about the feline.
Asked by the interviewer who was looking after the moggie while she toured Down Under, Subo replied: “Is that really relevant? I’ll say it for the millionth time, Pebbles is being well looked after in London.
“She has friends of her own and we’ll move on from there.”
The Britain’s Got Talent star made the comments on the The Kyle and Jackie O Show, on Australia’s 2DayFM station.
She has been touring the country to promote her latest album, Someone to Watch over Me.
And she hinted that fans would hear something special in her new songs.
Ambition
She said: “What you do in the recording studio is you tend to experiment so I’ve done a lot of experimentation in the recording studio with some of the songs on the album.”
SuBo also spoke of her struggle to get to where she is. She said: “I had a kind of singing ambition and it all depends on how strong that ambition is.”
She also gave a message to children suffering from the kind of bullying that plagued her own childhood.
Asked by the interviewer what she would say to children who wanted to follow their dreams but were being teased, she said: “Bullies always try to bring you down, to really make you feel rotten. What you do is you don’t react to them at all, what you do is you try and do well because that really gets them even more, that you’ve managed to do well and become your own person. That’s the best way back at them.”
