Susan Boyle said she would not be filling Michael McIntyre's BGT shoes

She said: “I’m not sure I’d make a very good judge. I couldn’t be mean to people,” later adding “I wouldn’t be able to say no and I wouldn’t want to upset people.”

The show is currently looking for a new judge after comedian Michael McIntyre said he was leaving after just one series.

The songstress made the comments as part of a live webchat with fans on the social media site Twitter.

SuBo, who is currently touring Austraila to promote her new album also said she would like to buy a holiday home Down Under.

While she said that she would never leave her home town completely she would like to buy a house abroad.

She also quipped that she’d like Donny Osmond for Christmas, but would settle for Ronan Keating.

She said: “I think Donny Osmond would make a nice stocking filler but then so would Ronan Keating.”
