£25,000 drug seizure in Fife

The heroin seizure lead to the arrest of a 49-year-old man

HEROIN valued at £25,000 has been seized in Glenrothes, Fife leading to the arrest of a 49-yr-old man.

Detective Inspector Alan Blyth, said: “Following a vehicle stop at 6.30pm on Friday (Nov 4), heroin valued at £25,000 was seized. A man is to appear from custody today at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court charged with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
