A PENSIONER was hauled from her car by a thief after she stopped at traffic lights.

The 67-year-old woman was driving through Canonbie in Dumfries and Galloway when she was attacked.

Her assailant then jumped in her silver Skoda Fabia car and drove off just after 10pm on Saturday, 15 October.

Police say the incident has left the woman in a state of shock.

The man who attacked the lady is only described as being in his late teens, early twenties, slim build with short hair and he spoke with a Scottish accent.

The car has not yet been traced.
