THE Christmas Pudding which sold out across the country last year is to hit the shelves earlier to ensure that customers are not disappointed.
The Heston Blumenthal “Hidden Orange” pudding will now be available from September 26.
Last year the £14 pudding sold out weeks before Christmas and even ended up on the auction site eBay, fetching over £200.

Retailers are already stocking up on the sweet treat, with Waitrose ordering three times as many as last winter.
Waitrose International Growth Manager Rupert Ellwood said: “After last year’s success the message went around the world that this is a must-have Christmas product.”
As well as the original 1.2kg puddings, which contain a whole candied orange, this year sees the introduction of the ‘mini’ Heston pudding, with a candied Clementine in the middle.
