A BONE found on one of Scotland’s most remote beaches has been linked to a missing man.
A member of the public found the remains on Thurso East Beach.
A Northern Constabulary spokesman said “extensive” enquiries suggested the bone belonged 45-year-old Michael Sinclair, who went missing from his home in the town’s Castlegreen Road in April last year.
The case is not being treated as suspicious.
His parents and former partner, who both took part in media appeals at the time, have been informed.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
