Scots pants firm claim retailer failed to pay for undies.

Bawbags have taken their fight to court.

A SCOTS pants maker is taking a retailer to court claiming they failed to pay for a consignment of undercrackers.

Bawbags , which sold 150,000 pairs of pants last year, claims an English shop failed to pay for top-drawer undies worth 846.

The Edinburgh-based firm is asking a sheriff to force Stockport-based John Collins to shell out for the 150 pairs of pants.

Owner Midge Whyte confirmed briefs had been instructed and the action was going ahead.

He added:

“With legal stuff involved I wouldn’t want to cause any problems. “

The company produces 30 designs, priced around 10, including Wee Baws to Big Baws.

All have skid marks printed inside and slogans include: “Warning, may contain nuts.”

But the joking will have to stop on July 27 when the smalls claims case is expected to call before a judge at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

The firm was set up by Mr Whyte and two friends, Colin Reid and Darren Anderson. They admit they were drunk when they came up with the idea in 2006.

After starting the business in 2008, they now sell their wares in 220 outlets including USC and AB10.

No-one was available for comment from John Collins.
