A GAP-toothed robber is being hunted after pulling a knife on a shop worker and grabbing cash from the till.
The robber, who also has a scar on the left side of his face, struck at a store in Bathgate, West Lothian, on Monday afternoon.
Despite being threatened with a blade, the shop assistant refused to hand over money. The robber then opened the till, snatched hundreds of pounds in cash, and ran off.
He is described as white, 5ft 5-8ins and slim with a gaunt face and stained teeth and missing an upper tooth.
A police spokeswoman said: “Fortunately the shop assistant was not injured in this incident, although she has been left understandably shaken as a result.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have been in Kirk Road at the time, and who may have seen what happened, to contact police.
“Alternatively, we would be keen to hear from anyone who might recognise the description of the suspect.”
