A MAN had to be cut from his car by fire fighters after crashing into two lorries.
Two trucks collided with each other and the car then crashed into them on the busy Edinburgh bypass.
Fire crews had to cut a 61-year-old man from the car and he was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Both of the lorry drivers were uninjured.
The accident happened on the road between the Sheriffhall roundabout and the Old Craighall junction around 11.45am today (Mon).
The bypass was closed in both directions along with the A68 until just before 3pm on Monday as police investigated the accident.
Diversions were in place causing mayhem and tailbacks for motorists.
