Flames rip through farm building

A FIRE broke out in a farm building laden with asbestos in Midlothian today (Sun).

Eight fire appliances worked to tackle the blaze which broke out at Warriston Farm in Currie at around 4pm.

The large building was described as being 50×20 metres by a spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue.

The spokeswoman added that there was a large diesel tank at the side of the building and that no-one was involved in the fire.
