EDINBURGH Zoo has slashed its entry prices to £5 over the Christmas and New Year Holidays.
Normally adults pay £15.00 (£13 cons) and kids £11.
Attractions include the £6 million chimpanzee experience, Budongo Trail, which is a world-class indoor enclosure home to a large family of chimps; LivingLinks, a cutting edge indoor primate exhibit featuring capuchin and squirrel monkeys; the daily Penguin Parade.
The zoo – open every day of the year depending on weather – also has and a variety of keeper talks and presentations.
Edinburgh Zoo’s newest residents, Malayan sun bears, are experiencing their first ever snowy season and will bring sunny smiles to visitors on their day out.
A zoo spokesman said: “£5 entry per person is available to all, from kids to grandparents, from groups to students. Take advantage of this great deal, wrap up warm and enjoy the Zoo in this cold but beautiful winter weather.”
