AN ELDERLY woman was treated by ambulance staff after a fire broke out at her home in Edinburgh.
Firefighters used six breathing apparatus and two high pressure hose reels to extinguish the blaze which started at around 12pm today (Tue).
The woman was given oxygen at the scene in Bonnyrigg, but refused to be taken to hospital.
A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue service said: “We were called to a fire at a two-storey property in Bonnyrigg at 12.37pm.
“An elderly woman was treated by ambulance staff but refused to go to hospital.”
