Residents in the Lothian and Borders area are being asked to nominate their top community police officer for an award.
The gong, in partnership between Lothian and Borders Police and the Edinburgh Evening News, is aimed at officers who have gone above and beyond.
The Community Policing Award winner will be announced on Thursday December 2 at the annual Excellence Awards ceremony, held at Lothian and Borders Police Headquarter at Fettes in Edinburgh.
Members of the public are asked to nominate a policing team or officer they believe has shown commitment and dedication to the community they serve.
Application forms are available on the Lothian and Borders Police website at www.lbp.police.uk or by visiting the Edinburgh Evening News website www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com.

Nominations close on Monday, November 22.
