A COW has died after being hit by two cars in Fife this morning (Thurs).
The animal wandered off onto the A92 at the Forgan roundabout and was hit by the oncoming traffic.
One woman had to be taken to hospital with head lacerations following the incident.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call from the police at about 5:28am
“Two cars were involved in a road traffic accident on the A92 south of the Tay Bridge at the Forgan roundabout.
“The first car collided with a cow and the second collided with it again.
“One female was taken to hospital for treatment.”
There was no explanation as to how the animal came to be on the carriageway.
