POLICE have confirmed the name of the man shot dead in Glenrothers on Sunday night as businessman Mohammed Nadeem Siddique.
Police in Fife were called to flats in Forres Drive in Glenrothes at 9:25pm where the 38-year-old was found dead.
Another injured man was found outside and was taken to hospital by ambulance crews.
He suffered non-life threatening injuries and was shortly released.
His name had not been confirmed by police.
Officers are still looking to speak with a man who is described as being in his 30’s with short brown hair and of stocky build.
He is described as wearing a dark coloured zip-up top and is believed to have been in the vicinity at the time of the incident.
A police spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody with any knowledge of this incident to come forward and call Fife Constabulary on 0845 600 5702 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where all calls are treated in confidence.”
