A TEENAGER suffered a broken jaw during a horrific attack in Edinburgh on Monday morning.
The 18-year-old left the Lava and Ignite nightclub with his friend when they were attacked by a group of males on the Capital’s Ponton Street.
Both victims suffered facial injuries and were taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
The main suspect is described as white, 17 to 23-years-old, 5ft 10ins tall, medium build, with short blond hair.
He was wearing a red checked shirt with a white pattern, and blue jeans.
A police spokesman said: “One of the victims suffered a broken jaw as a result of this unprovoked attack, and we are appealing for any information that can help us identify those responsible.
“Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened should contact police immediately.
“Similarly, anyone who recognises the description of the suspect, or who has any other information that can assist our inquiries, should also get in touch.”
