POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fight broke out in a pub on Saturday night.
Metal and wooden pools were used by the two groups, and a substance similar to pepper spray was released.
Customers from the pub started fighting a group of Lithuanian men in the foyer of the Rowantree Pub on Eskview Road in Dalkeith at around 7.15pm.
Six men were arrested by police just after the incident but Lothian and Borders are asking any witnesses to come forward.
