A MAN thought to be behind a spate of break-in across businesses in Fife has been arrested by police.
The 41-year-old – who hasn’t yet been named – was detained by CID officers based in Dunfermline.
They say he was arrested in connection with a series of raids on shops in the town’s High Street, a string of break-ins at commercial premises and after targeting the popular Lauders Public House.
Detective Constable John Jarvie said: “The man will appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court at a later date.”
Police didn’t reveal the value or exact numbers of the alleged thefts involved.
