ONE of Scotland’s leading charities is to stage a gig in Edinburgh to raise awareness about its animal welfare campaign.
OneKind Live will take place at Ghillie-Dhu in Rutland Place on Wednesday June 16 starting at 8pm.
It is organised by Advocates for Animals who hope to build on the success of its OneKind campaign which was launched earlier this year by pop star Alesha Dixon and comedian Johnny Vegas.
Pose Victorious, who recently supported Dundee band The View, Rockness favourites Any Colour Black and DJs Dee Itsy and Cat are among those on the bill.
The charity, which celebrates its centenary next year, said it was breaking new ground for the organisation which has around 16,000 supporters.
Fundraiser Catherine Jennings said: “This is a completely new arena for us, which will bring the OneKind message to a new audience.
“We’re ecstatic about putting on our first music event.”
Tickets costing ÂŁ5 and can be purchased online or at the door. For more information visit www.onekind.org
