THREE teenagers robbed a man at a cash-point and forced him to flee into his car seconds after he punched in his PIN number.
The 44-year-old had just entered his number on the machine at Buckstone Terrace in Edinburgh when the trio pounced around 7.40pm on Saturday.
Police said the youths – all aged around 15 or 16 years old – threatened the man before stealing cash from his account when he ran to his car parked nearby.
It was unclear how much was taken, but detectives said it had been a “frightening and distressing” experience for the victim.
One of the boys was said to be 5ft 7ins tall, of slight build and dark hair, wearing a dark coloured top, with a blue and white scarf over his face, blue jeans and light trainers.
The second was 5ft 5ins with dark hair and wearing dark cloths, the third only described as being white.
Police appealed for witnesses or anyone who recognised the descriptions to contact them on 0131 311 3131.
