TELLY and stage star Denise van Outen is to make her Edinburgh Fringe debut this summer in a new one-woman musical comedy show – featuring songs only by BLONDE artists.
Among the tunes she will perform are songs by Duffy, Doris Day, Madonna, and Mae West.
She said: “This will be the first time I’ve performed on the Fringe and I can’t wait to be part of it.”
Her act will be based at the popular Underbelly’s Cow Barn at the Reid Hall in Edinburgh.
Written by Jackie Clunes the show – aptly called Blondes – will feature musical accompaniment by Edinburgh based musician and playwright Mike Moran.
Underbelly co-director Ed Bartlam said: “It’s a real coup for Edinburgh.”
Denise, from Essex, married fellow West End star Lee Mead in April.
