THIS is the hilarious moment that a passenger on a flight to Glasgow is left oblivious to the fact that EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy is sat just inches away.
The woman, known as Jules, was sitting directly in front of the star on a Ryanair flight yesterday whilst engrossed in an episode of the London based soap.
A brief clip shows a fellow passenger filming the 40-year-old actress as she notices the woman in front is catching up on the latest events in Albert Square.
The clip shows Jules watching a scene from the long running BBC show on her phone which is positioned on her lap, seemingly too invested to notice she is being filmed.
The camera then pans to the seat behind Jules and Natalie Cassidy comes into view smiling and pointing at the oblivious woman in front.
Cassidy gives the camera a cheeky wink before it swings back over to oblivious Jules who is still engrossed in the lives of Ian Beale, Phil Mitchell and Sonya’s ex Martin Fowler.
Jamie Borthwick who plays Jay Brown in the soap was also on the flight alongside his co-star and posed for a picture with Jules who eventually clocked the pair after the plane landed in Glasgow.
The clip of Jules was shared to social media with the caption: “This is actually hilarious.
“I hope she doesn’t clock until they’re all getting off the plane & then shrieks so they give her a hug. We need a part two.
“Also, I’m nosy & wanna know where NC & JB are flying off to & if it’s for her new project…”
The post quickly received attention from fans of the show gathering 2,100 likes and tens of comments in just a short period.
One user said: “Omg, well this women is obviously made for a role in EE.”
Another added: “I’m surprised Natalie isn’t in row one lol.”
A third said: “Gawd imagine being long haul with Sonia stuck behind you.”
And a fourth added: “If she doesn’t ask the question “What happens to Sonia in the end?” Is she really a true fan.”
