HANDYMAN Peter Tobin has been found guilty of murdering Falkirk schoolgirl Vicky Hamilton.
The 62-year-old was found guilty at the High Court of Dundee today (Tuesday) of abducting, raping and killing the 15-year-old, who was last seen alive in Bathgate, West Lothian, on February 10 in 1991.

The tragic teenager’s body was later found by cops in the back garden of a house formerly occupied by Tobin in Margate in Kent.
Her family thanked police, prosecutors and the jury for helping them find closure after what they described as a “nightmare 17 years”.
The verdict came after a trial lasting four-and-a-half weeks.
Callous Tobin had denied the charge, claiming he had been in the Portsmouth area when Vicky disappeared.
The jury took less than two-and-a-half hours to convict Tobin.
