THE road out of Ibrox was a sea of blue this morning as hundreds of Rangers fans made a convoy of noisy cars and vans heading to the Uefa Cup final.
Streets surrounding the Gers’ home stadium were packed as more than 100 vehicles decorated with flags and scarves to begin the journey to Manchester.
The colourful supporters were in jubilant mood before setting off on the 220-mile trip – despite most heading south without a ticket or accommodation.
Crowds stopped traffic around the home stadium to take photos and cheer on the ‘Rangers conga’ which was organised through online fan site Follow Follow.
