Tartan Army debut hilarious new chant aimed at England striker Harry Kane, claiming he “eats pizza with a spoon”

THE Tartan Army have debuted a hilarious new chant for the Euros aimed at England striker Harry Kane, claiming he “eats pizza with a spoon”.

The song appeared to be conceived at a pub in Germany yesterday where a group of Scotland fans gathered to enjoy a few drinks.

Passing pedestrians were left tickled by the chant, which takes aim at England’s star striker’s common sense and intelligence.

Video filmed by one onlooker shows the group of rowdy Scots fans beginning the hilarious new chant.

More and more fans join the call and eventually the whole pub appears to be chanting: “Harry Kane eats pizza with a spoon.”

The rallying cry is accompanied by stomps and claps with Scots fans shaking their fists in the air as they chant the words over and over.

The chant appears to be led by one shirtless Scot atop a chair who encourages others to join him.

A semicircle of fellow fans clad in the recognisable colours of Scotland jerseys surround the leading lad and lend their voices to him, taking up the chant with gusto.

The video of the cheeky song being chanted in the boozer was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Harry Kane eats his pizza with a spoon.”

The clip gained over 475 likes and dozens of comments and whilst it received a warm reception from Scots on social media, not everyone was as impressed.

One user sarcastically said: “Oh gosh, I must say you English chaps are just like the absolute number one for soccer ball bants.

“I mean I can literally, right now, just picture this Harold character with a pizza and a spoon. I mean, this is mind-blowing bants.

“Whether you like soccer ball, pizza or just spoons. Everyone.”

Another replied: “This patter is worse, and they are Scottish.”

A third added: “Spaghetti with his hands.”

Another commented: “Top patter that like.”
