A PERSONAL assistant has revealed she was sent “human faeces” on father’s day by a “spurned mother” who misidentified her house.
Rebecca Carol, from Handsworth, West Midlands shared disgusting images showing the waste in a tube that was pushed through her letter box on Sunday [21 Jun].
The 40-year-old says she thinks the nasty “gift” was delivered to the wrong person, as she only recently moved to the area and does not live with any men or children.
Images show Rebecca’s gloved hand holding a green tube up to the light to reveal the “squished” faeces inside.
The tube is covered with a handwritten label which reads: “This year your Father’s day gift Rep’s [sic], you enjoy” with smiley faces drawn on.
A “stunned” Rebecca took to social media yesterday [Mon] to condemn the behaviour.
She posted a lengthy description of a woman she spotted leaving her property just before the “green tube containing faeces wrapped with a note” was discovered.
Rebecca wrote: “Please do not place any more of this through my letterbox.
“If you are not certain of a person’s location or address, do not place malicious items like this through anyone’s letterbox.
“It is incredibly moronic to purposely leave DNA evidence!
“We are in the middle of a pandemic! Posting your germs through my letterbox is thoughtless.”
“I understand that yearly events like Father’s Day are stressful for some, but posting faeces through a stranger’s letterbox is not taking the higher ground.
“Get a solicitor, go to mediation, go to anger management, but do not return to my property and do this again.
“This is not cool. Please share and help me get the message across that this is unacceptable.”
Rebecca’s post has sickened social media users.
Kelly Geatrix wrote: “Wow, I have no words.”
Gurdip Kang added: “That’s just plain crazy. wrong on so many levels.”
And Celine said: “Oh my god, that’s disgusting.”
Speaking today, Rebecca said: “I was a bit stunned for a moment when I realised what was in the tube, especially with the current covid-19 and public health advice.
“I think it is human faeces as it has been squished into the tube.
“I don’t think this was aimed at me at all.
“The woman I observed clearly did not know the person she was looking for wasn’t here anymore.
“I think whoever annoyed her – this action was impulsive and not well thought out.
“It is not particularly nice, however, I have not taken it personally because it was impulsive ‘flash in the pan’ kind of anger.
“I do feel a bit sorry for the woman who obviously was at the end of her tether when it comes to the subject of her child’s father.”
West Midlands Police say they are appealing for information.
